The AI extracts vocabulary for any pair of native and learning languages from this list.
Can I use Kardo without live lessons?: Yes. Besides recording live calls, you can paste text or word lists, upload files (PDF, DOCX, TXT), import videos from YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, or Facebook, upload audio recordings, or photograph text with your camera. Kardo extracts flashcards from any source.
How is this different from Anki or Quizlet?: Anki and Quizlet require you to create every card manually. Kardo generates cards automatically from your actual lessons — vocabulary, grammar patterns, and idioms with context sentences. It uses the same spaced repetition algorithm as Anki (FSRS), so you get the same review scheduling without the manual work.
Will my teacher see the bot?: The bot joins as a regular participant, so your teacher will see it in the call. You can let them know it's your study assistant — most teachers are supportive once they understand what it does.
